Hey Friends:
In Guyana, the price for a subject has increased by an additional $300. The following was as of last year!
One subject was six thousand dollars and any additional subjects were three thousand three hundred dollars added.
This means 1 sub = $6000
2 sub = $9300
An additional $3300 added to the $6000
Can anyone give us the price list this year for the subjects!
Your speedily response would be greatly appreciated.
I have also heard today 4th Nov, 2008 is the deadline for CXC Registration… Is this true?

According to Kaieteur News, page 12 dated 12th September, 2008 at the bottom left hand corner, it states:

There has been much speculation and various persons have made statements about the date when the University of Guyana will begin classes for the new academic year on the Turkeyen Campus. The University advises the general public not to pay any attention to such statements. As soon as the University fixes a date, it will announce that date through the Public Relations Division. The public is asked to await that official announcement.

According to an article on the University of Guyana website, it gives us quite a moderate knowledge on the UGOEE (Open Entrance Examination).

Applicants who does not have the above basic entry requirements, like me (I have wrote English twice and failed), can apply for UGOEE.
