Hey Friends:
In Guyana, the price for a subject has increased by an additional $300. The following was as of last year!
One subject was six thousand dollars and any additional subjects were three thousand three hundred dollars added.
This means 1 sub = $6000
2 sub = $9300
An additional $3300 added to the $6000
Can anyone give us the price list this year for the subjects!
Your speedily response would be greatly appreciated.
I have also heard today 4th Nov, 2008 is the deadline for CXC Registration… Is this true?

Hi Toney,
when you say the deadline for CXC registration, you mean registration for the CXC May/June exams 2009 right? I believe the registration for the CXC January 2009 exams are finished right?

And yes, if anyone can give us some information on the cost to sit the exams, that would be great!

P.S. Okay, I just saw it where you said that the deadline to register for the 2009 CXC May/June exams was Nov. 10th 2008. But this was from an informal source so you are not sure. Anyone has any information from a formal source about the deadline to register for the CXC May/June 2009 exams?

For those members and guests who are sending e-mails and private messages to ask questions about the cost of sitting exams etc. I urge you to post your questions to the study group.

There is no one person here with all the answers. We all work together to provide information for each other and help each other. Even if the staff do not know the answers, other members of the study group may know and be able to help.

Hey Toney!
Thanks for the info, its a great help to all students sitting CXC in May/June 2009. CXC has not been posting much updated information on their website recently. Their calendar is down and the subject reports for May/June 2008 are not published as yet. Ah well, we will keep checking to see when they will post updates.
