Time Flying By

I just looked the other day and noticed time going by so quickly. Only a few days ago it was over 100 days to the May/June 2009 CXC exams, now it is just 73 days away; just two and a half months. Where did the time go??

I also know that if I am feeling this way, it must be a lot worse for you students who going to be sitting CXC exams in May/June 2009. Like mughead said, time is just flying by!

Okay so how do you deal with time flying by if you have exams in about 2 months?

Solution: Time Management

Basically you need to manage your time like it was money and you were broke. You will need to calculate how much time you need to practice and revise, each day, add sleep and eat time to that, add on a hour or so for relaxation and that is a rough estimate of your schedule.

Depending on how many subjects you are sitting, how many you are strong in and the ones you need the most help in, you will have to plan out a timetable accordingly to give yourself enough time to review and revise each subject.

Notice I did not use the word, "learn", it wasn't by accident. By this time, 2 months before exams, you should have some kind of idea about the subjects you are doing.
1)
You should be revising and reviewing, reviewing and revising what you already know so that you can become better at it.

2) At this time, you should be working on CXC past paper questions and perfecting your skill and completing exam questions to time. That means sitting with a clock or a watch and timing yourself as you answer exam questions.

Do not mistake for a minute how much discipline this takes. It requires that you become your own drill sargent, forcing yourself to stop when the time is up even if you have not finished. This is hard, personal work. But if you manage to discipline yourself to use your time wisely, practice often, and use all the support that is available to you, you learn more than math, English or your other CXC subject - you begin to learn to master yourself.
