CXC CSEC math exam paper 1 topics

The CXC CSEC math paper 1 contains sixty (60) compulsory multiple choice questions based on the core objectives of the syllabus.

You MUST answer all the questions on this Paper. Each question is worth one (1) mark.

You should attempt to answer all 60 multiple choice questions on this paper.

(If you don't know an answer then guess!)

The table below gives you the list of the topics for the questions in Paper 1.

The table also tells you how many questions on the topic you will find on Paper 1.

i am an adult drop out of school 20 years ago to gave birth to my son. i have gone back to school and decide to do maths. i am having alot of problems remembering the formulas for maths, i would be greatfull for all the help i can get. thanks

Congratulations on going back to school! You might want to get a private math tutor to help you get up to date on your math formulas. Whatever you do, don't give up the fight. Get those subjects!

I myself drop out of school 17yrs ago and gave birth to my son also, but something tells me get up and pursue my dreams of getting my subjects so I have decided to do maths and biology so am starting classes september this year and i know by GOD's grace I will get through, but i will need all the support I can get from you guys thank you all in advance!

I just past English and i never took classes but i surf the net.
I was very weak in summary but overcome that but going on line and practicing and reading all about summary.
I do believe that you can get help by looking at different aspect of English online.

It would be really nice if you shared how you got over your weakness in writing summaries. I think thats why I failed. I did everything else on the paper, but the summary. It is, sad to say, my weakness too. I got an 'A' for understanding and an 'E' for expression. .... sad

I left Secondary school with 7 CXC's...none of them were maths...and that has dogged me evry since 1996..yes that long ago...i got chemistry in 2009...i want back math soooooo bad it hurts..then i will be complete....so i need a tutor...any one cares to help???

if you seriously need help in maths take my advice go to khan academy type the area of maths you need help with and there you go you are going to top the next an future examinations i am addicted to that mans easy to understand teaching
