Here is an interactive activity which leads you through the steps in writing a basic persuasive essay.

In this activity you get to practice

1) writing your essay introduction,

2) setting out your (three) persuasive points

3) expanding on each point by supporting it with three details e.g. examples, statistics, news stories etc

4) closing your essay with a good summary and conclusion.

You can complete this activity as many times as you like. You can also print out the essay maps that you complete and keep them for revision.
