CXC releases results of the January 2012 CSEC exams
CXC has indicated that the results of the January 2012 CSEC exams will be released on March 3rd, 2012.
Exam candidates who sat the CXC CSEC exams in January should be able to access their results online in the CXC student portal from that date.

In response to the very serious concerns expressed by CXC CSEC exam candidates here on our website. We wish to again remind people that we are not affiliated with CXC; we are not a part of CXC, This is posted at the top of our front page.
We are, however, a community that supports CXC CSEC exam candidates.
Our notice on the date for release of the results for the CXC CSEC exams January 2012 was based on an announcement by CXC.
This is the information they provided and this is the information we used.
We are very, very sorry that you have been placed in this uncomfortable and agonizing position and that we have contributed to it.
We apologize.
Unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do to affect this situation in anyway. We at CaribExams can only hope that you can access the system and get your results as soon as possible. At the moment, all we can do is provide a place online for you to network with others and to vent your frustrations.
We wish you all a speedy end to your present trial and wish you every success for your results.

P.P.S. I don't know how useful this information is right now, but, in the last exam cycle (May/June, 2011) we posted instructions on how to access your results from the CXC Student portal. You may want to check the instructions to see if you are doing it right. Or, your could check it just for something to do while you wait.

At this time we have no further information on the availability of the January 2012, CXC CSEC exam results in the CXC student portal system.
We again extend our sympathy to those of you who have spent the weekend trying to access your CXC CSEC exam results or even information about your exam results. We are also sorry that we have no further news for you.
We expect ....hope....that tomorrow, Monday 5th March 2012, CXC will issue a statement clarifying the situation and letting you know how to proceed.

At this time, CXC has provided no further information on the availability of results in the student portal for the CXC CSEC exams January 2012. There is no posting on the situation on the official CXC website. While there is a new posting on the CXC official FaceBook page this morning, it is not related to the current situation with the January 2012, CXC CSEC exam results.
As a result, we cannot provide any further information on the situation. For those interested, the notice of release of January 2012 exam results was not posted on the CXC website. It was, however, posted on the official CXC FaceBook homepage.
Exam candidates! We understand the very difficult weekend you endured trying to access your exam results. We know what you are going through and sympathize deeply with your stress and anger.
Unfortunately, the only thing we can all do now is wait.

CXC CSEC exam candidates, CXC has just posted an update on their official CXC FaceBook page. It states:
"Sincerely apologize for the mis-communication on the release of results. Results will be released at midnight tonight. www.cxc.org/ors"
There you have it folks. CXC has announced that results for the CXC CSEC exams, January 2012, will be available online in the student portal system from 12.00 midnight tonight.
That should bring some measure of relief to exam candidates. So hold on tight. You will get your results tonight.

A new date and time has been given for the online release of the CXC CSEC exam results for January 2012.
A forum moderator on the official CXC website, has given midnight on Tuesday 6th March, 2012 as the date and time for the online release of the exam results.
Please check this link to the post where the moderator gives the revised date and time for the online release of the results for the CXC CSEC exams January 2012.
The forum moderator also indicated that the CXC CSEC exam results were sent to local Ministries of Education on Thursday 1st, March, 2012.

CXC has just posted an emergency notice on the front page of its official website stating that the online results will be available on the 5th March, 2012.
It appears that the CXC CSEC exam results for Janaury, 2012 will be available online from midnight, tonight.

You cannot sign up because we do not have open registration for membership at this time. This is posted on the top of our front page.
Currently we have very limited membership registration - 4 per week. You can see how that works at this link.
Also, we do not email materials.

Happy Happy!!! I got grade III in English. I was so worried all along as I did not finish my essay and had to rush due to the time in the exam room. But I knew I performed in the other areas of the paper good enough to pass it....but I was really concern as I ran out of time while writing the essay. I got C,C in the profiles and I'm so happy for it. All the thanks to God for grating me a pass in my English. I really needed it!!! Happy Happy :)!!!

ok, well it the 24:35 on the 07 of march and i'm still waiting. I have been trying to see my result since 24:00 and also for the last 3 days but no luck. How come some people got through and other didn't. Everytime i typy in the information correctly a website mgs come up saying "INVALID INFORMATION, please try again." Look i really dont know what goin on...

Excuss me i kindly asking why can't i get my maths result, i have been checking for 3 days now but hadn't any luck. Whenever i type in my information correctly in the student portal, a website mgs pops up saying "INVALID INFORMATION, pls try again" then after 3 trys they states your access have been denied.
I know I can do it!
I got a grade 3 in English and I will resit in May/June and try much harder for a better grade!!! But still very thankful for the Grade I got. Bless!!

I wish that CXC had a website to query our grades.
I think this is madness what folks have to endure concerning
grades. Can you please tell me does CXC really hold on to
examination papers for how long that is?
I think folks should campaign for an "Online query link"
Because from the complaints both near and far a lot of
errors were made. And why should we have to be the ones to
suffer by having to pay for a query.

There are two profiles in the CXC CSEC English A exam.
They are (1) understanding and (2) expression.
The profile (1) understanding tests your ability to read and understand written passages.
The CXC CSEC English A exam questions in this profile are the multiple choice questions (paper 1), the summary writing question (paper 2, section 1) and the reading comprehension questions (paper 2, section 2).
The profile (2) expression tests your ability to express your own ideas in writing.
The CXC CSEC English A exam questions in this profile are the summary writing question (paper 2, section 1) the short story question (paper 2, section 3) and the persuasive essay question (paper 2, section 4).
