You are not alone I would like some answers as well
me and my friend both got C and D in English A and
would you believe she got a III and I got a IV. I
would like CXC administration to address this.
@ Administration would I have to pay for a review
as I do not think that its fair. "Whats good for 1 is good for all.

CaribExams.org is not a part of CXC. We are not affiliated with CXC. We do not work for CXC. We are not CXC owned or operated. This is posted at the top of our front page.

I understand how you could feel that this grading is unfair. And I am sorry that this is your experience with receiving exam results. Asking someone from CXC to provide an answer seems to be the best solution here. I suggest you contact CXC for them to work with you to resolve this matter.

Previously, CXC would post the date/s for submission of exam queries on their online calendar. They have not done this recently, so I cannot tell you the date for submission of exam queries for this exam. What I can tell you, is that it is usually very soon after exam results are released.

I would contact CXC very quickly if you want to follow up on this matter.

This link might be helpful. It talks about a situation like yours (Scroll to the last question).

And here is another link about how to get an exam query done. Again you have to scroll down the page till you see "Q: What is the Process for Querying Grades". You follow the steps that are given.

Good luck with getting it sorted out. And feel free to pass back and let us know what happened.

UPDATE: Sorry, I made a mistake in this post. Your CXC exam query must be made in writing to the CXC Local Registrar at the Ministry of Education in your territory (Overseas Examinations Commission in Jamaica).

And yes, there is a fee to get this done.

Hi,
Unfortunately I do not have any more information than what I posted just above your comment.

I have updated my post though. The update says that if you want to query your examination grade, you must do it in writing through your CXC Local Registrar. And pay a fee to have it done.

Apart from that, the only thing I can say is that you may want to look at this posting on CXC, where they explain how subject profile grades relate to the overall subject grade.

I know you must be feeling pretty grotty and worked up right now. Give yourself a couple of days to settle down and then decide what you you are going to do. It is always better when you act from a calm place.
