CXC releases results of the January 2009 exams

Friday March 6th 2009

CXC releases results of the CSEC January 2009 exams

CXC has announced on its website that the results of the CXC CSEC January 2009 exams will be released on March 6th 2009.

You may check with your local Ministry of Education for your results after that date. You can access contact information for your local Ministry of Education in our links section.

Finally I can hear my results after waiting so long,now I will know whether I will die or live. Hopefully the results are two 1s and one 2 !!! Then life will only get sweeter for me.

I remember last August, I was all excited about the official exams release date, little did I know I would have to wait an painful later week to hear the results.

So for those waiting for the resit results, give it a week.

For those persons planning to go colleges and universities,waiting for resit reults , I hope you have applied already,with your results pending.

When you get your results just send it off.

last time i did it 2005 and it was release on the 5th of march and i got ont the 15th of march so really do not know what will be happening now

its my first time doing cxc and i just want 2 know how i did?
its not going to make a difference because i'm doing over all my exams in may/june but im excited and i really need to know nnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww!

Hi, It's almost two weeks since CXC January 2009 results were released by CXC. Your CXC exam results should be available right now at your local Ministry of Education. I suggest you call them today or make a visit to them to see about your results.

We have been told here that Jamaica has sent them out already, So I believe they should be available everywhere by now.

I called my school this morning and they said the results are in, so if you are in Jamaica call your local school, most already have the results

If you read a lot, even just the newspapers, then you get used to the way people write and when you have to write, you have examples in your mind to refer to. If you want to do well in English, read the newspapers every day, you will see how easy it becomes.

Hey, thanks for swinging by and letting us know this, it's great news! It would be good to know where you were located though so we could tell everyone from that island that their results were out. Where are you from?

The CXC results was released since 06.03.09, I wrote Maths as a private candidate and I have not received my results in the mail to date.. Called the local ministry and was told CXC would send it eventually?!?! I would really like to get my results..

That's so strange, you should have your results by now. I think you talked to the wrong person at the Ministry. Maybe you need to go there personally and explain to them that the results have been out for the past three weeks.

Or, maybe you need to call CXC and explain to them that you are a private candidate who has not received your results yet and you need their assistance. Since you paid for your own exams, there is no reason why your results should not have been given to you by now.

I strongly suggest you follow this up in person at the Ministry and with CXC in Barbados by phone. We have their info in our links section.
