what is the writer trying to suggest about phllisia's character when she uses the phrase "stepped out of the shadows and whispered to me"

how to do a summary /what r the step that I have to go through ? and can I get some sample summary .thanx

Last year when I collected my CXC results, I noticed that there where two profiles which was assigned next to the word "English A" of my slip. This was (1) Understanding and (2) Expression. I was awarded C in understanding and E in expression. I wanted to know if the paper 1 (Multiple choice) monitors the understanding aspect and the paper 2 which comprises of short stories monitors the expression aspect.
