Did anyone find CAPE Math ridiculous today?

I mean seriously, I didn't have time to finish the last section. Every problem I practiced instantly became obsolete. I feel pretty stupid right now :(

Well, there are others like you I know who said it was hard, but the majority of persons said it was easy or OK.

Maybe you didn't study as hard as you think you did?

Yeah I agree it was harder. I went through alot of past papers, and did everything we went through in class. But alot of the things that usually come didn't even come. It was entirely different to previous years, based off the past papers. And one of the questions (I think the one about the compund angles) wasn't solvable without a calculator from my knowledge...
Only one person from my school claims that the exam was somewhat managable, and even he found it harder than expected and he's the best at math I know. The identity was pretty odd to me also. I think I could have done better, but I really wasn't comfortable either. I had to do it on a combo desk, in the corner of a hot wooden classroom. I lost my psyche around half way and didn't even reach the final section.

For the most part, I'd say I still have a chance at passing math, but that one I was aiming for is in the gutter. I guess the exam wasn't that it was hard, but rather that is was unfamiliar. Oh well.

But Jboy213, it's not fair to say I didn't study hard. I'm in a sleep deprived state and very stressed. I've made math my number one priority and it still went wrong. I normally chastize myself, but it would be unfair to say that there was anything I could do to help me with that exam. Maybe our teachers did a bad job preparing us for it because the entire time our focus seemed different. Not even their hardest practice material was so unfamiliar.

Wait, I come back here and see yal misread my comment. I didn't say u didn't study hard. My question was maybe u didn't study as hard as you think you did? I never explicitly said that u didn't study hard.
Also, I think all students say there year was harder than all the years. It's what we do as part of removing part of the blame from ourselves.
I am able to talk in such a manner because, I know how it feels to be ruined when you aimed for a one in cape maths. Luckily, I didn't fall too far off and I managed to get a grade 2.
Since the exam was challenging in my year, the 2 felt like a 1 for me. In case you want to know what year i wrote, it was last year. Lemme guess, you taught last year was easier than what u got? But its just a guess........
So in response to the guest(not verified) I do know what I am talking about.
