I am doing hsb for the first
I am doing hsb for the first time ever too, i wanted to do it in january this year but i know if wasn't ready to do it, so i put it back to may/june. It is alot of reading and trying to understand what you read. What I do (even though i tend to freak out a bit when revising)is to try to get as many past papers as possible and after you read a topic try to answer the questions on the past paper that relate to the topic you read. Cause the syllabus is basically everything in the book, there is no specific area to focus on. As my teacher said, just read and something will stick. even though to me sometimes stuff don't seem to stick that easy.

Why are you
writing like that? You are barely making sense. Not sure you will pass your exams if that is the level of your writing skill. Try reading the newspapers to see how to write sentences.

the syllabus was out a while ago, they just added a few more bits of info. What I hate about this , it is so much reading.
hsb exam today
ok i did the hsb exam today and the layout was not what i expected even though it was on this site (which i thought was a mistake). the questions were a lil tricky, but i tried my best and pray that i pass both papers, paper 2 in june

Hey,i want to do one of these sub, but am here contemplating on which one should i choose.I would appreciate it if anyone could give me some advice on which to choose or which is easier,i like BIO anyway.

Hi,
It depends on what you want the subject for. If you are planning to do a program in the future, you should check the entry requirements for it. Some programs just require you to have "one science subject", while others may specify that they want Biology, Integrated Science or something like that.
We elected to support Human and Social Biology because, for out-of-school exam candidates, it is the shortest route to getting "one science subject". There is no SBA requirement for Human and Social Biology. And, in comparison to, say Integrated Science, there are less modules to cover in the syllabus.
So, really, there is no hard and fast rule for taking either subject. It depends on you and what you want to do with the subject when you move on.

read alot dont just sit there and say you dont understand you have to get the help from someone who knows about the subject and explain for you and then u will have a better understanding about the subject am sitting the exam come may i never done the subject but i had private classes and i read alot and i have a better knowledge about it and success come through had work and determination

I'm sitting hsb in may/june 2014 is that the topics we are getting in hsb 2014 which is nutrition,respiratory system, circulatory, skeletal, excretion and homeostasis, coordination and control and reproductive system or this is something else.PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE!
