Submit queries on the CXC CSEC January 2010 exams

The deadline for submitting queries for the CXC CSEC January 2010 exam is 1st April 2010 (about).

This is CXC'S deadline for entertaining queries about the January 2010 CSEC exam results.

Therefore, if you sat exams in January 2010 and you have some questions about your exam results, you should make sure that your questions get to CXC before this deadline.

Please be advised that you do NOT send your queries to CXC directly. The written queries are carried to the local CXC registrar in your territory (the exams section of the Ministry of Education).

The Ministry is then responsible for forwarding your queries to CXC.

Please note: Your written queries should be carried to the local Ministry of Education as soon as possible after you receive your exam results. You should avoid waiting too long after receiving your results to do this.

Remember, your Ministry may take some time to get the exam queries to CXC in Barbados.

I've written the January 2010 H.S.B exams but i haven't received my results. I queried it at the San Fernando branch but they keep telling me 2 come back I've been requesting my results since the first week in April and still haven't gotten any reply all i get is a set of running around. i have been to the San Fernando branch and they keep telling me to come back. I really need my results but no-one seems to take heed they keep giving me sob stories about not receiving it from the Port of Spain branch and I'm very frustrated because it seems like i'm not ever going to get my results. Could some one help me please?

Hmm... not sure why they are not giving you your results, but they are long overdue. You may need to call Port-of-Spain yourself and talk to the person in charge of the examinations section, or even go to Port-of-Spain yourself to see if you can get them personally.

I just wanted to ask since I have been getting alot of mixed answers. If for instance I did a CXC in june of 2010 and got a 2 but did it over in January of 2011 and got a 3. Whick mark will count the higher one or the lower one,or will both count?

I think both count the way CXC tells it. If you choose, you could present only the certificate with the grade 2 and don't bother to present the one with the grade 3; that's your choice. If you are asked however, you do have to respond honestly.

Thing is though, both 2 and 3 are passes, so either way, you passed.
