I am not sure which exam is harder or even if one exam is harder than the other. Maybe someone else may have an idea?

I don't know how this happened. I know that I did better in English this May than last year but yet I was shocked when I got my results. I was then told to rewrite it January because at that time the markers would go easy on the marking and remember, at that time, not many students will be writing so there will be a better chance of you passing since it deals on how the overall did. I have never written the cxc exam but out of all I've heard, the May/June exams are a bit harder than the January exams. Also, we have been following a pattern each year. For example, last year's exams were more difficult than this year's and as a result, next year (come my turn) will be a very challenging exam. But to me, we can never really say which exam is harder because it all depends on the student and how serious he/she takes the cxc exams.

Listen, I wrote 9 CXC subjects in May/June 2007. Got Grade 1 in English but Math.... Grade 4.

That aside, I hear that January exams are easier some years than June and vice versa.

Many people in Grenada seem to believe that the exams come yearly in the format: hard this year, easy next year etc etc etc. So if its easy this year, it'll be hard next year.

Thats only my view on the matter. Got 7 out of the 9 by the way. English A, French, Ag.Sci. I.T, Biology, Physics, P.O.B. Grade 1 in I.T and English A, Grade 2 in Biology. Didn't Get Chemistry and Math.
