CXC releases results of the 2009 May/June CXC CSEC exams
to regional Ministries of Education
CXC has announced on its website that the results for the CXC CSEC May/June exams 2009 will be issued on Monday 17th August 2009.
These results are issued to regional Ministries of Education (MOEs) which then release the results to local schools. After this date, students may contact their schools and/or local MOEs to find out information about their exam results.

Hi, sorry no, we will not be supporting the CXC CAPE exams. I believe there are a few websites available that support students sitting the CAPE exams, e.g. www.lennonmaths.com

CXC Results
I am frighten 4 my results but I tried really hard and part of me wants to find out how I did. POA, Physics and Boilogy were the hardest subjects!!!

In my opinion...physics was definitely the hardest subject for 2009...that paper was deadly...and the hardest part to me is the fact that i had put in countless hours of studies for physics....it just doesn't seem fair for me to fail because i really did put a lot of effort...but everything happens 4 a reason..and I am prepared to deal with whatever grade I receive.....but on a positive note.....i think that i did extremely well in my other 7 subjects especially chemistry.....biology wasn't too difficult but i made a couple silly mistakes...but I'm still confident....I think all my diligent studies would be rewarded......6th form...here i come....lol...BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!!

just want to say i wrote in 2005 and i wrote again in June and i hope i did good , maths and English wasn't that hard this year , when i wrote was much harder and i am praying that i did good i have been scared to write again , but i got the courage to do it again from my fiance . so i hope and pray i don't let him down . i have full confident that i did good . and i hope everyone else have too ..

anybody know how long after the 17th the CXC results might reach the schools??? plz help.. i'm freaking out, this is taking too long. please reply

from my understanding the results will reach the island on the 17th and then the ministry of education will have to check and verify and then separate each group of results to send to the various schools in the island .. which might take 2/3 days depending on how fast they work. So I would say that you will get the results by the end of the week.. probably the thursday or the friday.

Cape results usually come back a week before csec results so since csec supposed to be the 17th j guess you can expect cape this week...= |

to be honest, im really excited about CAPE results coming in, thats like really good for me least i dont have to worry any more, you know i worked for what i got, and thats that and i cant wait until my school is ready to share them!!!!!

i am having a nervous break down,about the coming cxc's result i am so scared,i pray to god i have done well and also for all of us who sat cxc will have nothing but excellence and joy.o god bless us and keep us at this time and pase...

Disappointed about issue date of CXC results
Hi.. i find it very unfair that cxc is being released so late since the exams this year started earlier than last year. When results come out so late students that apply to go straight to a 4-year degree institution have trouble getting their results in on time to start fall semester. I have just finish high school and have set 11 subjects for CXC and i have also applied to a 4-year degree institution to do a pre-med degree, cxc would be released on the 17th and it might take a week to get it from the secondary school you attended.. fall classes start on the 24th of august by then i would have missed freshman initiation, orientation and the beginning of fall classes how would i get accepted if results come out so late i would have to re-apply for spring classes next year. Is there any chance that cxc might release results earlier than said to accomodate students like me?

omg i wasn't worried about results until now i dont wat i'm going 2 do if i get a failing grade or even a 3 i wud jus cry my eyes out cuz i'm a nervous wreck n i dontnormally fail n i really hope i dont fail cuz d accounts was so hard n usually my average in accounts is above average but the exam was really hard i really hope i pass n i wish everybody who took dat horrible exam passes it as well n a word 2 cxc PLZ DONT SET BACK AN ACCOUNTS PAPER DAT HARD PLZ I'M BEGGING U (CUZ ME MITE GO RE-SIT IT) god bless every body who sat cxc

wow i'm ready to see all 1's and 2's for my result. i know i did well in most subjects. the only unsure thing is accounts. probably a 2 or 3. other than that i'm optimistic.

Accounts and French
Well yes. I can see that i don't only feel shaky about accounts. that was the worst paper 2 ever. I sat there blank for about 10 mins. French multiple choice was the same thing.... CSEC here we come
sweet physics
boy that physics was rell hard 4 me i don't know what grade i got i more than passed my labs and i don't know if that gives a three i'm hoping 4 the best.

lol.... i was actually thankful for the first Q but after that... it all went downhill from there..... that paper was horrible... the thing is , is that everyone studied for a hard paper, so they just generalized the whole thing and touched on every topic making it hard for the ppl who tried to study indepth cause they would have alotted more time to topics like motion and stuff...all in all, the point is the exam was too easy,and thats wat made it that much harder for the students including myself. cuz i dont kno wat i got,,,,, i hope i did well but.......lets pray for the best..

Wow....that's pretty much the concensus of persons that i have spoken to.The first question was indeed very deadly...i stared blankly at it for about 5 minutes and then i looked around and most ppl had the very same blank expression so i just decided to move on............i found the other questions were okay....except for the one with the car and the lab in the very last question....i think that i passed...,I am expecting a 2....anything higher would surprise me and anything lower would disappoint me......The Lord helps those who help themselves and you do reap what you sow....and i really did study diligently for all my subjects...pretty much read out all my text books(some more than once)...and thats why i have faith and I believe in myself.....I hope that everyone gets what is deserving to him or her........Peace :-D.

yeah, i know how it was.i watch dat paper and was seriously ready to bolt outta dat room and not even bothr writin anything.And d sad part is i'm a physics freak.i lurv phys and yet the paper had me in a panic. I think i downed bout a litre of coke after dat exam 2 calm myself.

physics was a killer fa real all through that paper i was praying the thing is i did everything on that paper in class except for that one with the baby's skull i was like wtf...but i'm hoping and praying that my sba's and paper #1 helps me!!!!now i really regret doing it...i'm freaking i really hope i get a 1 or 2

i went on a couple of college interviews and now i'm pending results plz its putting my whole life on hold!! CXC make it a bit sooner to release those results plzzz. registration for new students begins on the 17th for utech and i need those results no later than this week plz oh god lol.. but i guess its impossible to release it earlier. my only wish that those results were here sooner so that it wouldn't be much of a problem for us, students, to forecast what university or college we will be going to. i wish everyone all the best on there results because prayer and hard work conquers all. i'm waitin anxiously to collect mine:)

well am kind of happy that the results came out late,, i gave me time to enjoy myself for the summer, because i know if i fail those exam......... only God knows, well i know to but.. ..... only God knows... and my mother, and that belt. ( i have to hide all those belt in the house.)

I expected the results to be released around the end of August but I'm glad that they will be out sooner. I'm nervous but I can't stand the suspense. Good luck to everyone who are also waiting anxiously, I wish you all well.
