CXC chemistry students: The ChemCollective virtual lab simulator

Here is a link to a virtual chemistry lab where you can mix chemicals, test combinations and view results without ever entering a chemistry lab.

You will need to have Java machine installed on your computer to view the simulation.

A solution is usually clear,
it is homogeneous and uniform in colour and appearance,
it does not split up light rays
if left to stand, it does not settle out

Can sum1 help me with this p&d lab plz. A nursery man catalogue claims that the brilliant colour of a new rose he is offering for sale contains the same colouring matter as the scarlet germanium plant. A chemist anxious to test the truth of this claim is trying to develop a suitable method that can be used. Plan and design an experiment that the chemist can use to test this claim.

a bottle of salt was found in a laboratory. It had no label and the teacher instructed students to test the salt if it contained Pb or Al ions.
What should be my hypothesis, apparatus, method and stuff like that. i'm totally lost!

Make a solution of the salt in a test tube. Add some drops of potassium iodide solution into the test tube. A bright chalky yellow precipitate will indicate the formation of insoluble lead iodide. Therefore, the ion present would be Pb. If no ppt forms then the ion present is Al.

A student took a handful of coloured candy. She found the colours from
the candy were transferred to the palms of her hands. She wondered if the
colours used for the candy in her hand were identical in other kinds of
candy.

Please help. This is a Chemistry SBA lab and I don't know what to do.
