CXC CSEC exam results for January 2013 released?
Has CXC released the results of the CXC CSEC exams, January 2013? They might have. At least suggestions indicate that they might have.
Very quietly, several hours ago, CXC on its Facebook page said,
"Hi Fans, you can check your grades online, see link:
(Monday 25th February, 2013)
Now, was this a general invitation to any and everybody to check their CXC grades in the CXC Student Portal?
Or was this an invitation for exam candidates who sat the CXC CSEC exams in January 2013 to check their grades? Exam candidates who sat the CXC CSEC exams in January 2013 are the only people right now who are on the lookout for CXC to publish their grades; at least as far as I know.
Maybe I am mistaken. Who knows? CXC is certainly not saying.
There has been no formal announcement by CXC that the results of the CXC CSEC exams January 2013 have been released and are available.
There remains, however, this quiet announcement to CXC's Facebook fans that they can check the CXC student portal for their grades.
Seems to me, if I sat the CXC CSEC exams in January 2013, I would "check my grades online " at the link that CXC provided above.

Okay, here is some more evidence which seems to suggest that the CXC CSEC exam results for January 2013 have definitely been released.

I am not sure why you cannot print your CXC CSEC exam results from the CXC student portal.
It may be that CXC has disabled that website function. The alternative, I expect, is for you to contact your CXC local registrar (Ministry of Education) to get the official exam results slip from him/her.
I passed 5 cxc subjects but
I passed 5 cxc subjects but at different times. I believe they give you a certificate showing that you obtained 5 subjects, i think ? Will I get one?

As far as I understand, CXC will not give you one certificate for all 5 exams. You will receive a separate certificate for each CXC exam cycle in which you sat and passed an exam.
For example, if you sat and passed your 5 subjects in 3 different exam cycles - May 2009, January 2010 and June 2010 - you will receive 3 separate certificates.
This is what I understand, however I suggest you check with the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) itself.

i got all my 5 passes in my cxc subjectsand the 2 i wrote outside i got them in 4 which was ss and pob my grades for ss were c and d and for pob it was two c and one e and my friend got those exacts same graings like I did and he passed his with a 3 i am comfused and i would also like to know if i query my grades would they change the change the 4 to a 3 if they realise that have what it takes to get the 3 for their mistake. could you kindly address this for my anyone i am looking for an answer for weather i should query cause the deadline to submit querys are on friday 22nd of march.

This site is great for us parents/guardians as we can see the results even before the child/ward does.

CXC themselves said that results will be released online on the 9th of August for CAPE and 12th of August for CSEC!
