C SEC in no walk in the park!,everyone of my friends that has been through this process warned me about the challenges that you face before entering that exam room and now i am experiencing these challenges for myself,but I know "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" so I am not scared I am not enter that exam room with no fear in mind but i am entering with confidence in myself knowing that I am going to pass all (5)five subjects with (1,s)ones.I hope everyone is prepared and be confident. thank you!

If you took a general proficiency exam in January and you got a Grade two.
Is it true that if you retake it in June and lets say you get a grade three, that you have to keeep the Grade three and the Grade two becomes invalid??

Why would you take the same exam in June if you passed it in January? A grade two is a pass. You would have to pay more money to take the exam over in June. Why would you do that?
Anyway, no, your grade two does not become invalid. It simply means that you now have a grade two AND a grade three in the same exam.
I would keep my grade two and my money.

Writing CXC English short stories
One of the way to learn how to write short stories is to read a lot of short stories. When you read a lot of short stories, you become familiar with how they are constructed - the way the stories are developed and how their writers manage to complete them in 450-500 words.
If you want some guidance in writing short stories, I suggest you take a look at the short stories that won the CXC best short story awards for the past seven years. We have collected these short stories that won the CXC best short story awards and we have them here.

the key to managing time in writing short stories is to plan if the allotted time is 40 mins select how much time u need to plan how long it would take you to read over then u start writing don't limit your self to just writing anything but make sure you get all you want to say out if time is to run out before you get to read over good luck we're all in this together
