Please add your reviews of CXC math textbooks so that other students who may want to use them for revision and/or exam preparation will have an idea of how helpful the books are (and not waste money on a book that doesn't suit them).

To help you in writing your reviews we have developed 4 categories for you to grade the textbooks on. (You get graded all the time, don't you? Well, here is your chance to grade the books they tell you that you have to use.)

Grading criteria

1. Quality of explanations

The book showed the math procedures simply and clearly,

The book was somewhat clear but a little confusing in places,

This book confused me completely.

2. Use of Diagrams

The book had many clear diagrams which helped the explanations,

The book had some diagrams which helped the explanations,

The diagrams were confusing and didn't help much at all.

3. Presentation of chapter questions

The questions were organized from easy to difficult, with worked examples,

The questions were all over rhe place, I couldn't make sense of it. There were no worked examples.

This book was only CXC practice questions with worked examples, which I liked.

4. Information on the CXC math exam

This book gave detailed information on the requirements of the CXC math exam,

This book gave some information on the topics covered in the CXC exams,

This book did not say anything about CXC except in its name.
