Registration for the CXC CSEC exams January 2013

Wednesday October 31st, 2012 is the deadline CXC has set for receiving entries for the CXC CSEC exams January 2012.

This means that CXC Local Registrars must submit exam candidates entries to the CXC head office by this deadline.

What does this mean for you? It means that if you wish to sit the CXC CSEC exams in January 2013, your application must be submitted to the CXC Local Registrar in your exam territory well before this date.

We suggest that exam candidates interested in sitting the CXC CSEC exams in January 2013, contact their Ministries of Education or the Overseas Examinations Commission (Jamaica) before the end of August 2012, to access the registration forms and start the application process.

Please be advised that Local Registrars in some CXC exam territories set their local cut off dates for CXC CSEC January exam registration well in advance of the CXC October 31st deadline. So we advise you to find out your local CXC exam registration deadline early.

Last year we saw one territory set their local deadline for CXC CSEC January exam registration for September 3rd.

Jamaica - registration for CXC CSEC exams January, 2013

The Overseas Examinations Commission has stated on its website that registration for the CXC CSEC exams - January edition is mid-August to mid-September. Therefore, Jamaican candidates who wish to sit or resit the CXC CSEC exams in January, 2013 are advised to contact the Oveseas Examinations Commission as soon as possible.

Trinidad and Tobago - registration for CXC CSEC exams January, 2013

The Trinidd and Tobago Ministry of Education has begun registration for the CXC CSEC exams January 2013 today.

Registration will continue until Friday 24th August, 2012. The information and registration forms for Trindad and Tobago are available here.

Late registrations will be taken until Friday 7th September, 2012. A non-refundable, late registration fee of $162.00 TT is payable for late registrations.

Barbados - registration for CXC CSEC exams January, 2013

We have been advised by a guest that the Barbados registration period of the CXC CSEC exams January, 2013 is September 1st, 2012 to September 30th, 2012.

We have not been able to verify that information as yet. We suggest you contact the Barbados Ministry of Education as soon as possible if you wish to sit the CXC CSEC exams in January, 2013.

Registration for the CXC CSEC exams January 2013 is carried out by the local Ministries of Education (Overseas Examinations Commission in Jamaica). They are the ones who distribute the registration forms for the January 2013 CXC CSEC exams. They are also the ones who set the deadlines for the receipt of registration forms to sit the exams.

We suggest you contact your local Ministry of Education (Overseas Examinations Commission) and request information about when the registration forms for the CXC CSEC January 2013 exams will be coming out.

Registration for January CXC examinations starts on September 1 and ends on September 30 For Barbados Ministry of Education

By the time you receive your results for the Jan 2013 CXC CSEC exams, the deadline will have passed to register for the CXC CAPE exams for June 2013.

The registration deadline to sit the CXC CAPE exams in June 2013 is around October-November 2012.

Since the CXC CSEC exams January 2013 are expected to begin in less than a week, I expect that the deadline to receive timetables has passed.

I recommend that you contact or go into your local Ministry of Education/District Education Office/Overseas Education Commission as soon as possible and try to retrieve your CXC CSEC January 2013 exam timetable.

It seems every question on every CXC website has been answered except one important one which keeps getting looked over, when will the 2013 January exam results be released?? Month? Day? Anything?? Anyone??

CXC has not given a date when results will be released for the CXC CSEC exams, January 2013.

For the past 5 years however, results for the CXC CSEC January exams were released during the first week in March.

In January 2008, exam results were released on the 7th March,

in January 2009, exam results were released on the 6th March,

in January 2010, exam results were released on the 1st March,

in January 2011, exam results were released on the 1st March,

in January 2012, exam results were released on the 1st March.

It is quite likely that CXC will continue this trend and January 2013 results for the CXC CSEC exams will be released sometime in the first week of March 2013.
