The time indicated on the Timetable includes:
(ii) For Electronic Document Preparation and Management Paper 2, 10 minutes Reading Time and 10 minutes to “warm-up” on the computer prior to the start of the examination. |

Starting times for all centres within a territory are 09:00 hr (9.00am) and 13:00 hr (1.00pm) If at any centre the number of candidates is greater than can be accommodated in one session, the Local Registrar may arrange to administer the examination in two or more sessions, ensuring that suitable arrangements are made to preserve the integrity of the examination. |

Visual Arts: A common paper containing all options will be issued. With effect from the May-June 2011 examinations, there will no longer be any Option A or Option B in Visual Arts. ALL candidates will be required to submit a Reflective Journal (the replacement for the Illustrated Paper). In addition to the Reflective Journal, candidates will be required to choose two Production Papers from the Options below:
(ii) Painting and Mixed-media (iii) Graphic and Communication Design (iv) Printmaking (v) Textile Design and Manipulation (vi) Sculpture and Ceramics (vii) Leathercraft (viii) Fibre and Decorative Arts Candidates must select for the final examination those options for which SBA assignments have been done. The Test Papers are to be handed to candidates on Friday, 15 April. The examinations must be completed during the period 02-11 May. All of the Options are 6-hour papers and should be divided into two (2) 3-hour sessions with a break of not less than 1 hour between sessions. These two sessions need not be held on the same day. |

French and Spanish Oral Examinations (Paper 3) in each territory will be conducted during the period 18–22 April in accordance with the Local Registrar’s schedule. |

All Paper 1 examinations are multiple choice except those in Electronic Document Preparation and Management, English B, Music, Physical Education and Sport, Theatre Arts and Visual Arts.

The Practical Examinations in Physical Education and Sport (Paper 2) in each territory will be conducted during the period 25-29 April in accordance with the Local Registrar’s schedule. |

The Practical Examinations in Music (Paper 2) in each territory will be conducted during the period 02-06 May in accordance with the Local Registrar’s schedule. For Music Paper 1 - there will be a 10-minute break between Section I and Sections II & III. Both papers for Music Paper 1 are combined Question Paper/Answer Booklets. |

The use of geometry sets (mathematical instruments) is permitted in Biology Paper 2, Geography Papers 1 and 2 and Mathematics Paper 2.

Information Technology Paper 2 (General): This subject will be offered at General Proficiency level only. It is not a practical examination - no computer workstations will be required. The Paper 1 will be offered in the multiple choice format. |

The Alternative Paper (3/2) to SBA in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Integrated Science is not a practical examination – no lab facilities will be required. |

Candidates taking the Technical Drawing Paper 3, CAD Option, on 05 May should be given additional time for printing at the end of the examination. |

Candidates taking the Electronic Document Preparation and Management Paper 2 on 03 May should be given additional time for printing at the end of the examination. |

The Alternative Paper to SBA (Paper 3/2), must be written by private candidates who opted not to complete the SBA assignments. Papers 1 and 3/2 must be written in the same session with a 15-minute break between them. Paper 1 must be written before Paper 3/2. Papers 1 and 3/2 in these examinations have been scheduled as follows:- (i) Principles of Accounts – 16 May (ii) Office Administration – 24 May (iii) Principles of Business – 25 May (iv) Social Studies – 27 May (v) Economics – 01 June (vi) Caribbean History - 02 June (vii) Physics – 02 June (viii) Chemistry – 03 June (ix) Electronic Document Preparation and Management – 03 June (x) Biology – 06 June (xi) Integrated Science SA - 07 (xii) Geography – 07 June |

biology and visual arts
need help in both subjects havin a hard time gettin to understand the inheitance and genes while in visual arts i have hard time shading and finding dark spoting out dark areas and making my art looks real need some help please
