It was only just a few months ago that we all did CXCs, times when many of us saw our hairs falling out, tears bust from our eyes before, during and after exams. Wow, and how silly are we again to pick up another bundle of stressing circumstances called CAPE exams lol. Well I'm new to this CAPE thing, these Internal Assessments, Oral presentations, and all manner of things. One thing especially these teachers wont stop stressing on us being "Pre- University students". How are you guys managing with the pressure? Do you think since you've been through it you're definitely ready for CAPE? I'm doing Sociology, Literatures in English, Food n Nutrition and Comm. Studies... I don't know if I'm mentally ready for this.. Am I the only one saying this?
Hmm. Cape..man Cape
lol Yup teachers really are harsh for real...... thanks for your comment you've inspired me to keep on going. : )
feeling your pain
i'm currently facing a similar situation with the cape internal assessments as well. its like you jump right out the frying pan with csec and directly into the fire with cape. its pretty hard and the work is no longer 'spoon fed' by teachers. i really ned some help with literatures in english and history internal assessments. i'm about to give up!!!!
thanks 4 sharing the pain.
What book are you doing in Lit. right now? We're doing Brother Man by Roger Mais. We don't do IA for it until next year so I'm not too sure on how that goes. Don't give up thats for sure, you've already come too far. Keep holding on, cause the Heavenly Father is with you always all you need to do is call upon him.
CAPE...Madness... or is it???
At first, CAPE did seem like madness, and i highly sympathise with a fellow Literatures in English student, but it has helped me to mature into an adult. i am currently in Upper six as of this comment, and the experince of Form six has truly been an irreplaceable spectable on my life, both joyfully, and sadly (teachers are pretty harsh on Form sixers lol)
